Following more than two years of planning and construction, Global Village Church (Rev. Jin Jae-hyeok) in Bundang-gu, Seongnam city, Gyeonggi-do, has completed "Pilgrim's Progress Road." In 2008, the church had established Pilgrim House in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do, as a place for today's people to replenish their spirituality. Following that, it created a 1-kilometer-long pilgrimage road in the vicinity, using 33,000 square meters of land, to help church members share the vivid experiences portrayed in John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress," and the road was opened on September 5.
At a press conference before the opening ceremony, Pilgrim House Representative Lee Dong-won (pastor emeritus of Global Village Church), Global Village Church Pastor Jin Jae-hyeok, and "Pilgrim's Progress" authority Peter Morden (Spurgeon's College in London) expressed the common feeling that "Pilgrim's Progress Road will be a place of enlightenment for today's Christians."
